A classic returns with its fourth entry in the Street Fighter series. Street Fighter 4 will be available in Canada on February 18, 2009 retailing at $59.99. All the character favourites like Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile will be back for combat, plus some new additions such as new environments and new characters all rendered in 3D.
The new characters featured are, Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, Rufus and more. Although, the game boasts new 3D effects, the game will still be played in the traditional 2D perspective. The game will be jammed pack with new super moves and ultra combos, thanks to the returning 6 button control.

Both Xbox 360 and PS3 is set to receive downloadable content over the next coming weeks made available via Microsoft’s Xbox Marketplace (Xblox Live) and Sony’s Playstation Network. The first expansion pack called, “Championship Mode” will be free of charge and include a replay mode, new points system and a tournament matching system. And although, it’s not official yet, the developers are planning on making T. Hawk and Dee Jay downloadable characters.
The game is already receiving critical acclaim and ratings of 5/5 and 9.5/10 from well known gaming magazines and websites such as Playstation: The Official Magazine and IGN etc. Are you ready to brawl?
